Rise Up For The Fallen: A 9/11 National Memorials Run Across America

Header2

March 1. 2016, I will begin running across America, raising awareness and donations for The 9/11 National Memorial Trail Alliance. They are a 501(c)3 non-profit, working to establish a National Memorial Trail (a multi-use run, hike, bike trail) connecting the three 9/11 Memorial crash sites. It would be the first of it's kind in the US, as there currently are no federally designated "National Memorial" Trails in existence. When it's finished, it will be an approximately 1100 mile long triangle shaped route linking the Pentagon Memorial, Flight 93 Memorial in Shanksville, PA, and the National September 11 Memorial in New York City.

I will be blogging the journey on here. Thanks for stopping in!

Lots of excellent news to report today!

A few things have started to come together and I'm going to report on them today.

First of all, we now have our own donation page over on The Pat Summit Foundation webpage! Also, I have fixed the button on the right under "Donate Now". It goes directly to our donation page now. :)

Next, the good folks at PSF have graciously given us our own Event info page on their website. Go here to see it live... Vol Run 4 Change Event Page

The last exciting news of the day is we have 3 companies who have agreed to sponsor my run....

GoBalls are a yummy peanut butter flavored snack you'll want to take with you on the Go. Good for re-fueling during races too!

Paddleboard Excursions is the premier paddleboard tour company in North Palm Beach. Go to their website and contact them next time you are in the area and want to get out on the water. Tell them I sent you and Cindi will give you a discount!

Wolfe Guitars , located in Jupiter, FL, is THE candy store for all things GUITAR!!! They ship worldwide and have new and vintage guitars for sale.
Guitar players, visit their website and prepare to DROOL!!!

Whew! That was a lot of Good News for one day!

Please take some time to visit our sponsors and thank them for sponsoring Vol Run 4 Change :)
